Tire Grants Rubberized Asphalt Concrete Use Grant Program (FY 2006/07) |
|
|
The FY 2006/07 grant application period is now closed. The Rubberized Asphalt Concrete (RAC) Use Grant Program is designed to promote markets for recycled-content products derived from waste tires generated in California and decrease the adverse environmental impacts created by unlawful disposal and stockpiling of waste tires. Cities, counties and other local government agencies that fund public works projects are eligible to apply for this grant program. CIWMB offers this funding opportunity pursuant to the requirements of SB 369 (Simitian, Statutes of 2007, Ch. 300). The application periods for each of the fiscal year (FY) 2006/07 cycles ended on January 19, 2007 (RAC7), March 2, 2007 (RAC8), and May 4, 2007 (RAC9). * Note: The RAC application was revised on February 8, 2007, to include the Environmental Justice (EJ) statement as referenced in the EJ certification section. Newly inserted text was shown with a shaded background. Grants administration staff contacted all applicants that submitted a current RAC cycle application without the revised page, and the applicant was required to submit a revised certification page with an original signature. |
