Tire-Derived Product Business Assistance Program

Assistance Team Organization

Image depicting the organizational structure of the assistance team as described below.

The assistance team is organized to provide both a tight, cohesive management team, as well as a broad range of expertise which can be drawn upon as needed.

The organizational structure for the assistance team starts with the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) coordinating the program-related activities of the stakeholders and project manager. The project manager will coordinate the activities of the voluntary industry advisors and the leads for business assessment and assistance along with the leads for industry and sector wide assistance. The leads will coordinate the activities of the members of the consulting pool.

Program manager Edward Boisson of R.W. Beck coordinates the consulting team in conjunction with two lead teams:

Business Assessment and Assistance Co-Leads

  • Brent Meyers, Corporation for Manufacturing Excellence
  • Dan Haushchild, AMPros Corporation
  • Jeff Lissack, Presidio Energy, LLC

Industry Market Development Strategy Co-Leads

  • Betsy Dorn, R.W. Beck, Inc.
  • Darryl Young, Riester-Robb Pacific

A broad consulting pool consisting of all team member firms, and supported as appropriate by industry experts, allows the team to tailor an assistance program to the unique needs of each business client.
