Application Materials

Application deadlines: October 31, 2008 and/or January 30, 2009

Applicants that have been awarded grants are not eligible to apply for the same grant program in the same or following fiscal year. Eligible applicants with an existing RAC grant prior to August 2008 are "grandfathered" and are able to apply for a Targeted or Use and Chip Seal grant regardless of having an existing grant.

Question Submittal Deadlines

  • October 8, 2008 for applications due October 31, 2008
  • January 7, 2009 for applications due January 30, 2009

Questions and answers (Q&A) will be posted periodically during the Q&A period. It is the applicant's responsibility to check the Q&A web page regularly to ensure that they are aware of all program details.

Question and Answer Period Deadline.
  • Questions must be submitted by email or mail only.
  • All answers will be posted approximately ten days after the due date.
Oct. 31, 2008
Jan. 30, 2009
Application Deadline.
  • Mailed applications must be postmarked by this date.
  • Hand-delivered applications must be received, and date stamped by the CIWMB, no later than 3:00 p.m. on the application deadline date.
Dec. 1, 2008
Feb. 27, 2009
Resolution and EPPP Policy Deadline.
  • If the resolution is not submitted with the application: The approved resolution must be received by the CIWMB by this date.
  • If the applicant does not have an Environmentally Preferable Purchases and Practices (EPPP) Policy at the time of application: An EPPP Policy must be adopted and notification must be received by the CIWMB by this date.

Apr. 21, 2009
Grants Awarded. The Board considers funding recommendations, and if approved, awards grants.
Apr. 1, 2011 Notice to Proceed. Grantee may incur costs from after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed to this date.
Apr. 1, 2011 Deadline for: Final Report, Final Payment Request and Request for 10 Percent Withhold.
