Recycled-Content Product Procurement

Waste Management Annual Reports

The following information is available to help State agencies and large State facilities understand and implement their waste management annual reporting requirements (as mandated by the passage of AB 75 in 1999).

• Online Video Training: A training video was developed from the workshops, and focuses particularly on annual reporting, which will be available online in February 2002.
• Workshops have been offered each year by the IWMB to assist with meeting the reporting requirements.
• State Organization and Agency Recycling Database (SOARD): Search for a specific state agency or facility and review its integrated waste management plan.
• Basics: State Agency Recycling is a summary of the requirements of AB 75 with links to relevant statutes and regulations and the text of the bill.
• Conducting a Diversion Study--A Guide for Local Jurisdictions (Pub. #311-99-006). Includes volume-to-weight conversion factors for various material types.
• Waste Reduction Policies and Procedures for State Agencies (Pub. #441-99-017)
