Highlights

• At-Store Recycling Program (Plastic Carryout Bags)
  A public comment period runs through May 12, 2008. A public hearing will be held on May 13, 2008.
• Corrective Action and Financial Assurances
  Board staff will conduct a series of public workshops between February and May 2008 to solicit feedback on informal draft regulation text and related activities.
• Mammalian Tissue Composting (Permanent Regulations)
  The Board adopted the regulations at its February 20, 2008 meeting.
• Rigid Plastic Packaging Container Law
  Staff is preparing required documents that must be submitted with the package to OAL for approval to notice the rulemaking for a 45-day public comment period.
• Tire Hauler and Manifest
  On June 9, 2008, staff will request direction from the Permitting and Compliance Committee to begin the formal rulemaking process.
