Application Materials

Applications must be postmarked or hand-delivered and date stamped as received at the CIWMB no later than 3:00 p.m., August 26, 2008.

Tentative Timeline for the FY 2008/09 Grant Cycle

July 23-29, 2008 Question and Answer Period
Questions must be submitted by email or mail only.
August 14, 2008 (tentative)All answers will be posted.
August 26, 2008 Application Deadline
Mailed applications must be postmarked by this date
August 26, 2008, 3:00 p.m. Hand-delivered applications must be received and stamped by CIWMB by this date and time.
September 23, 2008 Resolution : If the resolution is not submitted with the application, the approved resolution must be received by CIWMB by this date.

RCPP or EPPP Policy : If the applicant does not have a Recycled-Content Purchasing Policy (RCPP) or Environmentally Preferable Purchases and Practices (EPPP) Policy at time of application but intends to adopt one, the RCPP or EPPP Policy must be adopted and notification must be received by CIWMB by this date.

December 2008 Grant Awards
Board considers funding recommendations, and if approved, awards grants.
January 2009 Notice to Proceed (NTP) to be issued by CIWMB.

Start of Grant Performance Period --upon issuance of NTP, grantee may incur costs.

March 31, 2011 End of Grant Performance Period --last day to incur eligible expenses.
April 29, 2011 Final Report and Final Payment Request due.
