Overview

The Napa Valley Food Bank (a program of Community Action of Napa Valley, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) distributes donated and purchased food to low-income residents of Napa County.

History

The Napa Valley Food Bank is a public, nonprofit agency that was established in the 1970s.

Operations

They accept and pick up food and distribute the food to the Emergency Food Pantry Program, Senior Brown Bags Program, USDA Surplus, and Fridays Free Market.

Edible food such as:

Baby Food
Beans
Canned Fruit
Canned Meat
Canned Vegetables
Cereal
Dry Milk
Garden Produce

Pasta
Peanut Butter
Rice
Soup
Tomato Sauce
Tree Fruit
Tuna

Source of Materials

Individual donors, local businesses, food drives, other food banks, USDA, and private food retailers.

Collection Service

Food Bank vehicles provide a collection service.

Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Days/Hours of Operation

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.; Wednesday: 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

The hours of Emergency Pantry distribution in Napa are: Wednesday: 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., Thursday and Friday: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., and the last Saturday of the month: 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
