History
Habitat for Humanity ReStore of Butte County originated in 2001.
Operations
- The ReStore has established many commercial accounts; Lowe's is a loyal donator
to the ReStore.
- Greg Johnson, manager of the ReStore is the only paid employee—all the
other employees are volunteers.
- The ReStore's volunteer program enables students from California State
University, Chico to obtain community service credit by working at the ReStore.
- Volunteers are always welcome. Call or visit the Restore for
information on
how you can volunteer.
- The ReStore contains 5,100 square feet of indoor space, as well as an
outdoor area.

Usable construction and demolition materials such as:
- Bath Tubs
- Bricks
- Cabinets for Kitchens/Baths
- Carpet and Pads
- Doors (Interior and Exterior)
- Faucets for Kitchens/Baths
- Firewood
- Gravel
- Heating/AC Units

Source of Materials
 Eighty percent of the materials come from homeowners; the remaining 20
percent come from businesses.
