Beyond Waste

Overview

Beyond Waste is an organization that offers hands-on deconstruction, as well as consulting and training services for deconstruction/demolition. Deconstruction services include disassembly of residential, commercial, and state/federal wood-framed buildings. Salvaged building materials are available for sale, and lumber is also remanufactured into flooring and wainscoting. Beyond Waste has a small mill where they make flooring and tables, which is becoming a far bigger part of their business than deconstruction.

Materials Accepted

Used building materials are also accepted and include cabinets, doors, windows, plumbing and lighting fixtures, wood/lumber products, and electrical panels. Materials reused total 99 percent of materials deconstructed.

Collection Service

Materials collected at the deconstruction site are transported to the warehouse facility as part of the original deconstruction contract.
