Reuse Assistance Grants

Funding Sources in Addition to Reuse Grants

In addition to learning about CIWMB's reuse assistance grants, public or private entities may want to investigate several other funding opportunities related to waste management.

All CIWMB Grants and Loans

CIWMB's Grants and Loans page contains information about all of the Board's grants and loans.

Non-CIWMB Funding Sources

Below are funding resources offered by other State agencies.

GetGrants!
This State of California website identifies grant sources within federal and state agencies and departments through a single search, without the user being required to know the name of the department administering the grant.

Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority's "Mini-Grants" Program
The CCCSWA provides $50,000 in mini grant funds each year for a wide variety of programs in the areas of waste prevention, recycling, composting, offering technical assistance and providing public information and education to its residents and businesses. The CCCSWA seeks innovative projects that will increase individual and community involvement in waste prevention efforts, decrease the amount of waste sent to landfills, and encourage the development, marketing and use of recycled products.

Department of Conservation's Division of Recycling
Administers funding programs to assist organizations in establishing and promoting convenient beverage container recycling and litter abatement projects, and to encourage market development and expansion activities for beverage container materials.

West Contra Costa Integrated Waste Management Authority's "Mini-Grants" Program
Funds educational programs and materials, the purchase of recycling or composting bins, and other waste reduction efforts.
