The Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County's "Operation Gobble" Food Drive

Throughout the month of November, Operation Gobble will raise funds to bulk-purchase turkeys to provide to needy families for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Many grocery stores offer free turkeys with the purchase of a certain amount of groceries. The Food Bank can accept whole turkeys or vouchers.

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts Food Drive

Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will visit families in their neighborhoods asking for non-perishable food for donation to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. This is one of the largest food drives of the year for the Food Bank.

The Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County's Care and Share Holiday Food Drive

Companies, churches, schools and residents will rally employees, parishioners, students, etc. to fight hunger by donating food. The Food Bank will deliver and pick-up food donation barrels to churches, offices, or schools. Participants also receive posters to promote the drive.
