This event is free and open to the public. Guests can tour Recycletown's
reuse areas and visit the new Education Center, that was funded by the
CIWMB and features reclaimed lumber flooring and wainscoting,
second-hand tile floor, and a bottle wall. Artists can bring their
favorite recycled art pieces to display. A silent auction, live music,
and refreshments will also be offered.

Trash to Treasures is an annual junk-art (art made from found, scrounged,
or reused materials) competition and exhibition presented by the
East Bay Depot
for Creative Reuse. Professional and amateur artists of all
ages, who reside within Alameda County, are invited to create artwork
using discarded or reused materials and to compete for prizes.

Out Hunger"—National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive

This largest food drive in the nation helps food banks stay well stocked
during the summer months, when donations of food are usually at their
