Q. Can I use a credit card to order on line? 
A.The RecycleStore is only a marketing venue to assist recycled-content product manufacturers and their customers find each other. You must order these products directly from the manufacturers, many of whom will accept online ordering via their company Web sites.

Q. May I order small quantities at retail prices? 
A. Many manufacturers offer small quantities at retail prices. Contact the individual manufacturer for a retail outlet in your area or you may be able to purchase small quantities directly from the manufacturer.

Q. May I contact the manufacturer directly?
A. Please do! We encourage you to contact the manufacturers directly using the contact information provided by the RecycleStore.

Q. Do the manufacturers offer wholesale catalogs?
A. Many of the manufacturers do offer wholesale catalogs. Contact the individual manufacturers for this information.

Q. How do I get my products listed in the RecycleStore?
A. To showcase your recycled-content products in the RecycleStore, contact the California Integrated Waste Management Board at (916) 341-6523 or your local Recycling Market Development Zone Administrator. Please check the RMDZ zone map to determine your Recycling Market Development zone.

Q. Is there a hidden cost for posting my products on RecycleStore?
A. The RecycleStore is sponsored by the California Integrated Waste Management Board. There are no fees for participating in this program, however the terms and conditions of membership must be met.

Q. Can I include a link to my business home page from the product pages?
A. Yes! The RecycleStore includes links to manufacturers’ Web sites from the individual product pages to make it easy for prospective customers to reach you.

Q. How many referrals do participating manufacturers receive from Recyclestore?
A. The Recyclestore web site can direct customers to you by either directing potential sales leads to your web site or allowing them to send an inquiry to you via email. Please see our referrals report to see counts of web site and email referrals to participating Recyclestore manufacturers.

Q. Does my page become the property of the California Integrated Waste Management Board?
A. Yes, with sponsorship by the California Integrated Waste Management Board, manufacturers’ product pages on RecycleStore are the property of the Board.

Q. What is the minimum percentage of recycled content a product must contain?
A. Recycled content requirements vary based on the the type of recycled material used. Please contact the California Integrated Waste Management Board at (916) 341-6522 or your local Recycling Market Development Zone Administrator for specific information.
