Diversion Rate Accuracy:

Question:
1.  Are there extenuating circumstances pertaining to your jurisdiction's diversion rate that the Board should consider, as authorized by the Public Resources Code Section 41821(c). If so, please use the space below to tell the Board. If you wish to attach additional information to your annual report, please send those items or electronic files to your local assistance staff representative; include a brief description of those files below.

Jurisdiction's response:
No, we are above 50%.

Question:
2.  The statistical accuracy of the adjustment method is documented for jurisdiction waste generation growth of up to 14 %.  If jurisdiction growth since the base year exceeds 14%, it does not necessarily indicate an Adjustment Method estimate is inaccurate. However, doubt about the predictive value of a base year increases as residential and/or non-residential growth increase beyond 14 %.
Change in Residential Sector (%): 18.2% Growth
Change in Non-Residential Sector (%): 27.5% Growth

If either the residential or non-residential sector grew more than 14% since the base year, explain how your base year is still representative of your jurisdiction's waste stream.  If you need assistance answering this question, contact your local assistance staff  representative.

Jurisdiction's response:
Growth has been balanced throughout the county and the waste stream has not changed significantly.

A-2 Adjustment factors:

Adjustment factor used Source of adjustment factor
Population: User Defined Answer required
Taxable Sales: County Not required
Employment: User Defined Answer required
Consumer Price Index: State Not required

You have indicated you will use user defined adjustment factors for your jurisdictions. You will need to complete the ''Alternate Adjustment Factors Certification Sheet.'' Please see your local assistance staff  representative for details.

A-3 Calculation Method:

1. Requesting correction to existing base year: No
2. Requesting alternative disposal tonnage: Yes
3. Requesting deductions to DRS disposal tonnage: Yes

Based on these selections, you must fill out the following additional sheets

- Report year disposal modification certification sheet

Although you will be able to file your electronic Annual Report without filling out this sheet, your annual report will not be deemed complete until this sheet is completed and received by CIWMB.  Contact your local assistance staff  representative for details.
