LEA Health & Safety Courses Confined Space Training |
|
|
In August 2004 the LEA Support Services Branch offered a confined space training course taught by Pamela Murcell, CIH from KWA Safety & HazMat Consultants, Inc. Confined spaces can be dangerous and both federal and Cal/OSHA laws regulate their entry. By their nature, confined spaces contain a variety of problems: atmospheric hazards, the accumulation of toxic materials, flammable or explosive atmospheres, and physical hazards. The class will review hazard evaluation and appropriate work practices for confined spaces. There are currently no plans to offer the course again in the near future. |
