Rosalie Mulé

Rosalie Mulé was appointed as a full-time member of the California Integrated Waste Management Board in April 2004 by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and was reappointed in 2008. Ms. Mulé holds the Board seat designated for a person with experience in the private sector waste industry.

Prior to her appointment, Ms. Mulé served from 2003 to 2004 as director of municipal marketing for Waste Management of the Inland Empire. She previously served from 1998 to 2003 as director of government affairs and municipal marketing for Waste Management of Florida. Ms. Mulé was manager of municipal marketing and community affairs for Browning-Ferris Industries Southwest Florida Division from 1995 to 1998, and was manager of recycling programs and community affairs for Browning-Ferris Industries Hawaii Division from 1990 to 1995. She was a program manager for the San Diego Ecology Center from 1988 to 1990 and was public participation manager for the Metro II Wastewater Program in San Diego from 1980 to 1984.

Ms. Mulé has previously served as a member of the Transportation-Infrastructure Committee at the Southwest Riverside Economic Development Corporation, the Riverside County Independent Hearing Panel on Waste Enforcement Permit Issues, and the Riverside County Task Force on Illegal Dumping. She has been a member of a number of organizations, including the Solid Waste Association of North America, the Board of Directors for Keep America Beautiful affiliates in Florida and Hawaii, and the Florida Chamber of Commerce. She was co-founder of the Kauai Resource Conservation and Development Council.

Ms. Mulé received her bachelor's degree in environmental studies from Richard Stockton State College of New Jersey.
