Claims Data Search Tool: Gallons of Used Oil Collected Via Certified Claims for Current Reporting Period

This report shows the amount of used oil claimed by each used oil Certified Collection Center within each city or county or for several cities or counties. The used oil Certified Collection Center claims are provided by quarter, totaled by Certified Collection Center, and totaled by city and county. This information may be used to assist in completing your calendar year 2007 Used Oil Block Grant Annual Report.

To determine the amount of used oil from collection centers for a city or county, you must run the report twice--once for single facility operators and once for operators that have multiple facilities.

1. Under Claim Type, select "Single," select city or county under "Search By," then highlight the city or county name(s), then select "Search."
2. Under Claim Type, select "Multiple," select city or county under "Search By,", then highlight the city or county name(s), then select "Search."

To determine which Used Oil Certified Collection Centers did not file a claim during the reporting period: Select "No Claim", highlight the city or county, then select "Search".

Note: This report will provide all oil claims from a center, including both do-it-yourselfer and non-do-it-yourselfer (service bay) oil volumes. To determine DIYer oil volumes, include all auto parts store volumes as DIYer oil. Only two percent of the oil claims from centers that generate their oil primarily through service-bay business should be counted as DIY oil.
