Rubberized Asphalt Concrete Use (RAC Use) Grants |

General InformationThe California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) provides the Rubberized Asphalt Concrete (RAC) Use Grant Program to promote markets for recycled-content products derived from waste tires generated in California and decrease the adverse environmental impacts created by unlawful disposal and stockpiling of waste tires. CIWMB offers this funding opportunity pursuant to the requirements of SB 369 (Simitian, Statutes of 2007, Ch. 300). This is a competitive grant program that is aimed at repeat users of RAC. A jurisdiction can apply for multiple projects within a grant cycle and can re-apply in subsequent cycles.
