Rubberized Asphalt Concrete Grant Program (FY 2004-05)

The Rubberized Asphalt Concrete (RAC) Grant Program is designed to promote markets for recycled-content products derived from waste tires generated in California and decrease the adverse environmental impacts created by unlawful disposal and stockpiling of waste tires. This program was authorized by Senate Bill (SB) 1346 (Kuehl, Statutes 2002, Chapter 671). This is a competitive grant program open to cities, counties, districts and other local government agencies that fund public works projects.

The fiscal year 2004-05 grant cycle application period ended January 28, 2005.
