Tire-Derived Product Grants

Tire-Derived Product Grants (FY 2007/08)

The fiscal year (FY) 2007/08 grant application period is now closed.

The Tire-Derived Product (TDP) Grants Program home page contains more detailed information about this program. This page provides information needed to apply for the TDP's Fifth Cycle (TDP5), FY 2007/08, of this grant program.

Grant Awards

TDP5 (awarded February 2008)

CIWMB received grant applications exceeding its allocation of $2.4 million; therefore, CIWMB held a random selection process on Thursday, December 27, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. at the Cal/EPA Headquarters Building in the Byron Sher Auditorium, to determine what applicants would be recommended for funding and in what order. The public was welcome to attend this meeting or to listen to a broadcast of the process at CIWMB's Public Meeting Broadcasts website.

The results of the TDP Grant Program's random selection process were posted in the CIWMB's Board Agenda for its February 20, 2008, business meeting.

TDP6 (awarded April 2008)

Eligible applicants that were placed on the “B” list as a result of the random selection process were approved for funding by the reallocation of FY 2007/08 Tire Recycling Management Program funds.
