|
|
This grant program is designed to promote markets for recycled-content products derived from waste tires generated in California and decrease the adverse environmental impacts created by unlawful disposal and stockpiling of waste tires. Up to $100,000 per qualifying public entity was available for this fiscal year. See the Notice of Funds Available for more detailed information about eligibility, application procedures, etc. Application Materials CIWMB received grant applications exceeding it's allocation of $1,792,818; therefore, CIWMB held a random selection process on Wednesday, January 11, 2006, at the Cal/EPA Headquarters Building in the Coastal Hearing Room, to determine what applicants would be recommended for funding and in what order. The public was welcomed to attend this meeting or to listen to a broadcast of the process at CIWMB's Public Meeting Broadcast website. If your organization was not considered for funding at the random selection process, it may be considered for funding in CIWMB’s Tire Reallocation agenda item. For more information, check CIWMB's Board Committee Agendas and Documents. The following is for informational purposes only, for those interested in future grant cycles. The application materials change for each cycle.
