Waste Tire Playground Cover Grant Program |
|
|
The CIWMB provided the Waste Tire Playground Cover Grant Program to
promote markets for recycled-content products derived from waste tires
generated in California and decrease the adverse environmental impacts
created by unlawful disposal and stockpiling of waste tires. In 2005,
this program was replaced by the
Tire-Derived Product (TDP) grant program. The following, in addition to the links on the left, provide more detailed information and resources about these grants and the tire grant programs in general. Signage InformationCIWMB requires that a permanent sign be posted at the project site. You must indicate the number of California waste tires diverted from the waste stream on the sign.
