Material-Specific Resources

Overhead transparencies. 3M recycles used overhead
transparencies (regardless of manufacturer) to recover the polyester
plastics. Free transparency film recycling boxes and shipping labels are
available.

Rechargeable
batteries. The Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC)
allows public agencies to participate in its Charge Up to Recycle!
battery recycling program free of charge. As part of the program, RBRC
provides collection kits free of change and pays all shipping,
processing, and recycling costs.
