Regulations Review: Executive Order S-2-03

Governor Schwarzenegger's Executive Order S-2-03 required that California agencies and departments review pending regulations, as well as regulations adopted since 1999, to assure that the impacts on businesses were adequately assessed. The review included the impact of the regulations on California businesses; the authority for adopting the regulations; and whether the regulations conformed to the criteria of necessity, authority, clarity, consistency, reference, and nonduplication.

The California Integrated Waste Management Board has prepared the following reports, which were approved on February 11, 2004:

• Regulations that are in process
• Regulations adopted, amended, or repealed since 1999
