Packaging Waste Reduction
Paper Packaging
More than 90 percent of all shipping containers moving by truck, rail, and air are corrugated boxes. That is why the corrugated box business is the largest single segment of the packaging industry at $20+ billion per year in the USA. Corrugated is one of the nation's most highly recycled packaging materials, but more can be done to keep this material out of landfills. For example, through a simple redesign of a box, one manufacturer saved $360,000.
