Making a business more efficient requires good design so that both the transport packaging and distribution system work hand-in-hand.   • Design Standards. Minimum standards and guidelines.
  • Hewlett Packard. Guideline for Environmentally Responsible Packaging
  • Packaging Program at San Jose State University. An internationally known program, focusing on applied research and education for both undergraduate and graduate students. It also provides continuing education workshops for industrial personnel and is fully equipped with a modern packing testing laboratory.

Logistics

  • Council of Logistics Management. The Council of Logistics Management (CML) is a professional business organization of individuals throughout the world who have interests and/or responsibilities in logistics and the related functions that make up the logistics profession.
  • Warehousing Education and Research Council. The Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) is an international professional association that provides its members with the latest information available on warehousing and distribution trends, issues and potential concerns.  
  • First Alliance Logistics Management. An unique organization, combining the resources of 19 leading North American pallet manufacturers, recycling and repair companies, into a single-source solution for the management of pallets, pallet systems, and other returnable packaging.
