9:15 a.m.-9:45 a.m. Breakout into small groups to collaborate on worksheet (Adobe PDF, 151 KB).

Instructions: Assuming the need for siting a new organic diversion facility is already a reality, please review the barriers and solutions on the worksheet as follows:

  1. Given 1 barrier, explore what the CIWMB could do to overcome the barrier.
  2. Review the suggested solutions on the worksheet, answering what more could the CIWMB do in this area, what specific products, tasks, etc. should the CIWMB be working toward.
  3. Discuss other barriers as time permits.
9:45 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Brief report from each group on progress, adjust as needed.
10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Continue small group discussion.
10:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m. Break
10:45 a.m.-11:15 a.m. Continue small group discussion, identify 4 key solutions.
