Biomass and Conversion Technologies Conversion Technology Forum: 2001 |

On May 3-4, 2001, the California Integrated Waste Management Board sponsored a 2-day forum--Conversion Technologies for Municipal Residuals--at the Sacramento Hilton. The forum explored whether technologies such as hydrolysis, gasification, and anaerobic digestion can divert postrecyclable organic materials and paper materials from landfills, and convert them into energy, ethanol, and other useful products.
