*Non-residential disposal was estimated to be 60 percent of statewide total generation.

**Taxable Sales Deflator Index (TSDI) was used to remove inflation from taxable sales amount used in the statewide diversion rate estimates for 2005 and 2006. Prior to 2005, Consumer Price Index (CPI) was used. A preliminary TSDI is used for the statewide diversion rate. Because of this change in calculation methodology, the 2005 and 2006 statewide generation tonnage, diversion rates and disposal per $10 dollars in taxable sales estimates are not directly comparable with 2005 and subsequent year estimates.
