• Local Assistance. Local Assistance helps local governments meet the planning and diversion mandates of the Integrated Waste Management Act of 1989 (IWMA). local assistance staff serves as a liaison between local governments and the Board and its program areas.

• Technical Library. The Board's technical library is open to the public for reference use. The library's collection includes more than 8,000 books and documents and more than 100 journal subscriptions. The collection also includes videos, maps, and Board and Committee agendas and transcripts.
• WasteLine. The WasteLine goal is to provide customers with useful, reliable, current information about California's waste stream. In addition to answering your questions, WasteLine can provide readily available data and information.
