Construction and Demolition (C&D) Forum: Closing the Loop on C&D Materials (May 31, 2006): The California Integrated Waste Management Board (Board) hosted a forum on issues surrounding the procurement, reuse, and marketability of C&D waste, as well as the infrastructure for its diversion.

Multifamily Recycling Success Strategies (September 13 and 28, 2006): The Board hosted two workshops for recycling coordinators and other local officials interested in implementing or improving recycling programs that serve apartments, condominiums, and other multifamily dwellings.

6th Annual Environmentally Preferable & Recycled Product Trade Show (April 6-7, 2005): The Board hosted a trade show in Ontario, California.

Construction and Demolition Workshop (July 8, 2004): The Board held a public workshop on construction and demolition (C&D) waste diversion ordinances. As part of the workshop, two panels composed of local government and industry representatives with expertise in C&D diversion ordinances shared their insight and experience. The workshop was broadcast via the web.

Single-Stream Recycling Workshop (April 2, 2003): The Board held a workshop to discuss the designing, implementing, monitoring and promoting of single-stream recycling collection.

SB 1066 Time Extension Workshop Series (February-March 2000): The Board conducted a series of no-cost workshops to solicit input regarding the implementation of SB 1066. With the passage of this bill, the Board has been given the authority to grant time extensions and alternative diversion requirements to jurisdictions, enabling them to comply with AB 939 (Sher, Chapter 1095, Statutes of 1989).

Innovations (March 2000): The Board presented a videoconference to showcase innovative and successful local and regional recycling and waste reduction programs. The videoconference can be viewed online and case studies of the highlighted programs are available.
