LEA Training October 2004: Inspector Safety and Unexploded Ordnance |

In 2004, the LEA Training Program arranged for Carl Palladino to teach a one-day class on inspector safety and unexploded ordnance. The training consisted of two separate but related sessions. The morning session (Inspector Safety) provided an overview and refresher for solid waste inspectors on the issue of field safety. The afternoon session (Unexploded Ordnance) trained field staff to identify unexploded devices and follow specific safety rules when dealing with these devices. Course TopicsInspector Safety

SummaryFifty-four (54) people attended the training including LEA staff, CIWMB staff and other local government staff. Attendees were offered 4 hours of CEU credits for this workshop from the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).
