Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) Training Alternative Final Cover Assessment Training |

May 2002 In May 2002, staff from the Integrated Waste Management Board and the State Water Resources Control Board, in conjunction with the Desert Research Institute (DRI), conducted a one-day workshop for the local enforcement agencies (LEA), Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), and industry. The goal was to educate attendees on the scientific theory and engineering principles behind alternative covers and to update them on the current status of the Alternative Cover Assessment Program (ACAP) project. No CEU credits were offered for this training.
