Survey and Map Site Features

The purpose of surveying and mapping site features is to determine locations for conducting sampling of waste and gas on-site. The scaled site map, topographical maps, photo surveys, obtained or developed during the office investigation are useful in determining the actual locations. Also it may be advantageous to survey and mark the locations prior to commencing the actual sampling.

Follow this link for an example (Adobe PDF, 11 KB) of a map of site features depicting trenching locations for sampling of waste.
