Used Oil and Household Hazardous Waste Program

Statewide Annual Used Oil Recycling and Household Hazardous Waste Training and Conference
Sea lionThe Department of Toxics Substances Control (DTSC) and the Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) jointly sponsor the Statewide Annual Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)/Used Oil Conference. This conference brings together local HHW program managers, nonprofit organizations, State agencies, and private businesses to share information and attend technical training concerning the appropriate management of HHW. The conference alternates between northern and southern California locations each year.

  • 2003: There was no conference in 2003, however, the awards normally given at the conference were presented at the HHW Information Exchange in May.
