#### Universal Waste Workshop Video and Draft Regulation Text Available ####

The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) hosted a web-cast workshop on June 28, 2007, to discuss concepts developed to finalize DTSC's three emergency regulations related to universal wastes and existing regulations.

The presentation slides used at the workshop, the draft text and a summary table in PDF format, and a link to a streaming video recording of the web-cast is now available at:

If you need a Microsoft Word version of the text of the draft concept regulations document which was discussed at this workshop, please send an email to UWaste@dtsc.ca.gov.

If you wish to submit written comments regarding concepts for the proposed regulations, please contact Ellen Haertle via email at ehaertle@dtsc.ca.gov. Comments on the draft of the concept regulations text will be accepted through August 17, 2007.
