State Agency Buy Recycled Campaign

How Are We Doing?

The State Agency Buy Recycled Campaign (SABRC) was developed after passage of AB 4 (Eastin, Chapter 1094, Statutes of 1989). To date, State agencies have purchased more than $1 billion of SABRC-compliant recycled-content products.

CIWMB is the primary agency responsible for oversight of SABRC. An online report system was developed in 2006 for submission of SABRC Annual Reports directly to CIWMB. The reporting system is accessible via the SABRC Annual Report site.
