Director's Office

The Integrated Waste Management Board must carry out the duties and responsibilities related to the establishment of policies required to carry out the Integrated Waste Management Act of 1989. The day-to-day operations of the Board, the execution of the administrative duties necessary to keep the Board in business, as well as the direction of the staff to conduct the activities necessary to bring the required actions to the Board is carried out by the Director's Office.

The Executive Director is the chief administrative officer of the Board. It is the responsibility of the Executive Director to supervise and oversee all human resources, property, monies, equipment, and records of the Board at all Board offices. The Executive Director may redelegate to the Chief Deputy Director and other subordinates his powers and duties, as necessary and appropriate. The Executive Director informs the Chair of the Board of actions taken and reports to the full Board as required.
