ensuring that all Board personnel activities conform to State policies
and requirements as prescribed by the Government Code. The services
provided include the personnel disciplines of employee-employer
relations, equal employment opportunity, reasonable accommodation,
employee assistance program, career planning, examinations, workers’
compensation and return-to-work programs, and the health promotion
program.
The office also reviews and processes all new
hires, transfers, separations, benefits, and salaries, and provides an accounting of all
employee leave balances. (See our Jobs

The CIWMB Library serves as a depository for all books,
government documents, technical reports, periodicals, and videos that will aid Board staff
in researching waste management, waste prevention, composting, recycling, and landfill
technology. The document collection contains approximately 5,000 titles, plus 60
